| Bio: | I currently live among the crazy masses in New Jersey. I used to be an advertising office cubicle slave before having a change of heart and careers. Right now I work primarily as an EMT-B both in 911/Emergency and in non-emergent transport. The 911 calls take place in a big nearby town where most of our calls are either at one of the numerous malls or one of the numerous senior citizen care centers. It's usually a decent mix of this and that. I just started working in another town as well, so essentially all I do nowadays is work. Oh well. Someday I'll be able to take a break. Like, maybe when I'm dead. I currently go to school and am in the progress of earning my Associate's in Science. Afterwards, I am set to start nursing school in the spring. I'd like my ultimate specialty aimed at either ER, L&D, Surgery, or MICU. It's the toughest thing I've ever done in my life and yet somehow I keep going back for more. I guess I'm a glutton for punishment. I eagerly look forward to the day I get my license. I live, breath, sleep, and dream healthcare. It's sad, really. I used to be married up until this May. Yes, we remain on friendly terms. I am slowly adjusting to the single life. I have two psychotic shelter cats named Sassy and Eric the Massive MooKitty who have decided that they're gonna live with me and that I have no choice in the matter. I just added a small stray calico to the mix after my sister brought her home. Insert litter of kittens here. I promise, I am not turning into crazy cat lady. lol I tend to be pretty positive and love to laugh and have fun and make jokes and take care of my friends. I'm always up for something new, something adventurous. I make jokes alot on the job, but never with a patient or at a patient's expense. Sometimes people call me a whacker, but it's really not true. I don't have lights in my personal car, I don't have monster-sized jump bag fully stocked. I don't even have band-aids in my house half the time. Yes, I know, I'm a bad EMT. lol If you don't mind any of that, then add me.
